Through the Chinese Mandarin Training Program, the Confucius Institute at Angeles University Foundation (CI-AUF) supports China's Belt and Road Initiative in promoting friendly relations between the peoples of China and the Philippines. CI-AUF has formed partnerships with government agencies such as the Presidential Communications Operations Office, Presidential Security Group, Philippine Army, House of Representatives, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Education, Bureau of Customs, Bureau of Immigration, National Economic and Development Authority, and the National Library of the Philippines, to provide Mandarin training courses and Chinese culture lectures to their officials and staff. These training courses are designed to foster Philippine-China friendship by improving participants' Chinese language skills and cultural knowledge.
